Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Fellowship
Primary Clinical Site
The University of Chicago Medicine is the primary clinical site for the EMS Fellowship Program. Fellows work clinically in the Emergency Department which receives a high volume of EMS transports and medical direction calls. University of Chicago provides emergency care for a broad range of adult and pediatric patient populations from EMS and UCAN that require high level subspecialty care. UCMC is designated as a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, STEMI Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, VAD Center, Burn Center, Level III Perinatal Center and serves a diverse and complex community.
