Applicant Information

The University of Chicago Medicine is the primary clinical site for the EMS Fellowship Program.  Fellows work clinically in the Emergency Department which receives a high volume of EMS transports and medical direction calls.  University of Chicago provides emergency care for a broad range of adult and pediatric patient populations from EMS and UCAN that require high level subspecialty care including trauma, STEMI, stroke, VAD, burn, and obstetrical services.

Designated as a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, STEMI Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, VAD Center, Burn Center, Level III Perinatal Center
